I have never been so excited about a cookbook since the first 30 minute meals almost 5 years ago.

I have been on a latin food kick lately and Ingrid Hoffmann is my latest obsession. I just love her. She's so cute and her recipes are extremely do-able.

Before her, I was intimidated by latin cooking. But, not anymore. She has made it accessible to anyone who wants to give it a try.

Happy Pink Saturday! I have been going thru my summer photos and I came across this cool shot of my DD in her bright pink shirt in front of the M in MMOCA...Miami Museum of Contemporary Art. Craftiness & a Holiday Headstart

These are on their way to some friends for whom I am very grateful to have in my life. :) I got this as a gift from Sweet Mellie who was my Secret Santa last year but didn't have enough time to make it so I made it today. Isn't it CUTE!? I plan on filling the draws with little treats for the kiddos to enjoy each day leading up to and including Christmas Day. Should be FUN. I noticed that I put holly berries in the middle of my flowers instead of regular old brads but it's too late now. Them suckers are glue dotted on. :O I think I got my Christmas card photo!!!!!! What do you think?

Color of the Week - Orange

This year our annual pumpkin picking trip took us to Barton Orchards up in Pauquag. It's a bit of a drive but they make picking an event. Hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, farmer's market and even apples...tons of apples. We picked a couple of pumkins and a bag of apples. It was a gorgeous day. But I think the best part for the kiddos was this slide they built into a mountain. It was underground and pretty long. I was able to get some cool shots of them coming out of it. Neat, huh? A sea of pumpkins. How's that for an orange photo? Dylan and his pick. :) Natty and her pick. :)
