Friday Five (a day late)

1. What is your favorite hot beverage? Coffee, java, joe.
2. Describe your favorite hot food? Macaroni with fresh hot gravy...YUM-O!
3. What piece of clothing makes you feel warm and snuggly the moment you put it on? My Daddy's ski sweater...I'm wearing it now.
4. Do you warm up your car on cold days? Do you run the heat all the time or just enough to defrost the windows? I warm up my car on mild days. LOL! And, the seat warmer is my friend. :D
5. What is your ideal warm-weather vacation spot? Miami Beach, baby!

You've have been blogging! and it looks like I have some catching up to do! I love this :)

1. What is your favorite hot beverage? Fave hot beverage - Coffee of course on a daily basis....but hot chocolate with mini marshmellows on a really cold day.

2. Describe your favorite hot food? This time of year, I love hot beef stew with lots of fresh carrots and celery and big chunks of potatoes. (although right now I'm enjoying a hot cinna-bun)


3. What piece of clothing makes you feel warm and snuggly the moment you put it on? My Karen Neuberger PJs that I got for Chrismtas. They are a deep, dark burgandy color and the richest, most soft velour I've ever worn! Just devine!

4. Do you warm up your car on cold days? Do you run the heat all the time or just enough to defrost the windows? Luckily, I get to park in the garage, so it doesn't need to warm up much. but I do run the heat this time of year, until the car warms..then I turn it off.

5. What is your ideal warm-weather vacation spot? I love Santa Cruz in the Summer or anywhere along the coast is nice and cooler. I also love going to the lake and getting a boat to spend the day on the water. Fun!

2. Describe your favorite hot food? Anything sinful straight from the oven. Fresh bread with butter, warm cookies, cinnamon rolls....you get the idea :)
3. What piece of clothing makes you feel warm and snuggly the moment you put it on? My jammies. I don't care what pair...they're all snuggly!
4. Do you warm up your car on cold days? Well, since I don't go anywhere then I guess that answer is no. If I do venture out, then I wait until it warms up - LOL!
5. What is your ideal warm-weather vacation spot? What a silly question. Maui.

Happy Pink Saturday! I have been going thru my summer photos and I came across this cool shot of my DD in her bright pink shirt in front of the M in MMOCA...Miami Museum of Contemporary Art. Craftiness & a Holiday Headstart

These are on their way to some friends for whom I am very grateful to have in my life. :) I got this as a gift from Sweet Mellie who was my Secret Santa last year but didn't have enough time to make it so I made it today. Isn't it CUTE!? I plan on filling the draws with little treats for the kiddos to enjoy each day leading up to and including Christmas Day. Should be FUN. I noticed that I put holly berries in the middle of my flowers instead of regular old brads but it's too late now. Them suckers are glue dotted on. :O I think I got my Christmas card photo!!!!!! What do you think?

Color of the Week - Orange

This year our annual pumpkin picking trip took us to Barton Orchards up in Pauquag. It's a bit of a drive but they make picking an event. Hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, farmer's market and even apples...tons of apples. We picked a couple of pumkins and a bag of apples. It was a gorgeous day. But I think the best part for the kiddos was this slide they built into a mountain. It was underground and pretty long. I was able to get some cool shots of them coming out of it. Neat, huh? A sea of pumpkins. How's that for an orange photo? Dylan and his pick. :) Natty and her pick. :)
