Feel Good Friday

I've been so blue lately that I need to focus on the good stuff. So, here goes....

-we are cutting down our tree tomorrow at a local place
-going out to dinner to celebrate my Mom's birthday
-i have off today
-i feel like i've lost some weight....my clothes look and feel better on
-my christmas card photo is done
-i got another big reorder from school photos
-i am almost caught up on laundry...almost
-gingerbread latte's from Starbucks....yum-o!
-my christmas shopping is done!!!!!!

I'm feeling good already! Have fun getting your tree today! Our family is going out to get one today too, so I guess we'll be decorating together Mo! :)

Happy Pink Saturday! I have been going thru my summer photos and I came across this cool shot of my DD in her bright pink shirt in front of the M in MMOCA...Miami Museum of Contemporary Art. And another on a floor of records... And this is a shot of the family in front of La Carretta cuban restaurant in Little Havana. I rooster smoking a cigar. Craftiness & a Holiday Headstart

These are on their way to some friends for whom I am very grateful to have in my life. :) I got this as a gift from Sweet Mellie who was my Secret Santa last year but didn't have enough time to make it so I made it today. Isn't it CUTE!? I plan on filling the draws with little treats for the kiddos to enjoy each day leading up to and including Christmas Day. Should be FUN. I noticed that I put holly berries in the middle of my flowers instead of regular old brads but it's too late now. Them suckers are glue dotted on. :O I think I got my Christmas card photo!!!!!! What do you think?

Color of the Week - Orange

This year our annual pumpkin picking trip took us to Barton Orchards up in Pauquag. It's a bit of a drive but they make picking an event. Hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, farmer's market and even apples...tons of apples. We picked a couple of pumkins and a bag of apples. It was a gorgeous day. But I think the best part for the kiddos was this slide they built into a mountain. It was underground and pretty long. I was able to get some cool shots of them coming out of it. Neat, huh? A sea of pumpkins. How's that for an orange photo? Dylan and his pick. :) Natty and her pick. :)
