Color of the Week - Orange

This year our annual pumpkin picking trip took us to Barton Orchards up in Pauquag. It's a bit of a drive but they make picking an event. Hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, farmer's market and even apples...tons of apples. We picked a couple of pumkins and a bag of apples. It was a gorgeous day. But I think the best part for the kiddos was this slide they built into a mountain. It was underground and pretty long. I was able to get some cool shots of them coming out of it. Neat, huh?

A sea of pumpkins. How's that for an orange photo?

Dylan and his pick. :)

Natty and her pick. :)

Those are awesome shots Mo and the day looks perfect!!! Have you tried the pioneer woman's apple dumplings? Truly, they are TDF and might be just thing for some of your new apples. Love the orange :)

Loving your orange pictures, Ramona! I had to smile when I saw the pic of Natty....all color coordinated and stylish. I don't think she could be any cuter if she tried. And Dylan....such a handsome boy you got there! I hope to keep up now that I've had a chance to catch up! I miss not being in the loop! xox

OMG - we went to a place today with the same kind of slide. The kids loved it - they would yell and talk on the way down to hear their "funny" voices. Dorks.
The kids look so cute!!
