What I Wore

Hello there. Long time no see. Today I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore.

It's been a horrible May weather wise here in NY. It's been cold and rainy every.single.dang.day. I am barely motivated to get dressed let alone look cute. :/

But, today was different. The sun came out and temps were above 60! Can I get an amen?! :)

I wore this cute tee from Anthroplogie. It comes in several colors. I bought yellow. I never wear yellow. I dislike the color yellow so much. But, I was shopping with my daughter and it just so happens to be her favorite color. It has the cutest little ruffle hem. I paired with skinny jeans, clogs and my favorite boho accessories... Twine & Twig necklace and Farmgirl Paints cuff.


And, I always create a scrabpook layout of my favorite looks for the month using the Becky Higgins Project Life App right on my phone or ipad.

I'm hoping the weather starts to warm up around here so I can wear all these cute new tops and sandals I bought recently like these adorable Sam and Libby sandals from Target:


Aren't they cute?! I cannot wait to wear them!

Happy Pink Saturday! I have been going thru my summer photos and I came across this cool shot of my DD in her bright pink shirt in front of the M in MMOCA...Miami Museum of Contemporary Art. Craftiness & a Holiday Headstart

These are on their way to some friends for whom I am very grateful to have in my life. :) I got this as a gift from Sweet Mellie who was my Secret Santa last year but didn't have enough time to make it so I made it today. Isn't it CUTE!? I plan on filling the draws with little treats for the kiddos to enjoy each day leading up to and including Christmas Day. Should be FUN. I noticed that I put holly berries in the middle of my flowers instead of regular old brads but it's too late now. Them suckers are glue dotted on. :O I think I got my Christmas card photo!!!!!! What do you think?

Color of the Week - Orange

This year our annual pumpkin picking trip took us to Barton Orchards up in Pauquag. It's a bit of a drive but they make picking an event. Hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, farmer's market and even apples...tons of apples. We picked a couple of pumkins and a bag of apples. It was a gorgeous day. But I think the best part for the kiddos was this slide they built into a mountain. It was underground and pretty long. I was able to get some cool shots of them coming out of it. Neat, huh? A sea of pumpkins. How's that for an orange photo? Dylan and his pick. :) Natty and her pick. :)
